In this first edition, Bruce openly discusses the making of 40 of his images.

His subjects include the Bolivian altiplano, Iceland's waterfalls and black sand beaches, Ethiopian church deacons, Nepalese buddhists, hindu ceremonial occasions and the southern Patagonian ice field to name a few. This collection also covers some of the more prominent images from his homeland of Scotland.

This book is not only a great education on the image making process, but may also be considered a retrospective of Bruce's work to date.
